At 2,351m above sea level, Brienzer Rothorn, which is part of the Entlebuch UNESCO biosphere reserve, offers breathtaking views of the Bernese Alps and the lakes of Brienz and Thun. It's easily accessible from Sörenberg by cable car. At the top of the Rothorn is a restaurant and many hiking opportunities, not to mention an incredible view! You can also take a chair car down to beautiful Lake Eisee or make this excellent day trip even better and hike down.
