Since 1859 locals have considered this place to be their watering hole, especially after a church service. Inspired by their knowledge of regional history, the current owners have changed the previous name Het Anker (The Anchor) to De Linden (The Lime Trees). Indeed, four lime trees flank the outdoor seating area, a truly lovely scene. When the weather takes a turn for the worse, there’s still enough to do inside, as people often come here for darts and billiards.
