The first medical faculty in the Netherlands that created in 1983 their own pub, is still alive and kicking in Groningen. After entering this enormous bar, your first feeling might be that you entered a brothel, mainly due to the red walls and long red curtains. But believe us, as we saw many, that this is just somebody's bad taste for decoration. The atmosphere can be best described as 'cosy Dutch', whatever that may be. The dust on the piano suggests that nobody played it for a long time, while the famous Hall of Fame, here called the Wall of Proprietors, have seen better times too.
