Umami

Not that long ago Utrecht was packed with restaurants that didn't put much thought into their interior design. Nowadays the opposite seems to be true. Virtually every new place that opens has spent a fortune on its décor. This is also true for Umami that probably boasts the most modern interior in Utrecht. Where else can you find transparent chairs and purple bar stools? Fortunately the food’s good too! The so-called Shared Dinner concept means you pay a set amount per person for a three-course meal and then you can choose any two Asian dishes per course from the extensive menu. The black sesame ice cream with raspberry sauce is excellent.
