The red light district in this small town consists of exactly one street, the Hardebollenstraat. The city council is trying to turn it into a somewhat more respectable place and therefore purchases buildings and makes them available to ‘proper’ businesses such as this clothes and design shop. Puha sells eccentric clothes and accessories made by young (often Dutch) designers such as Marloes Blaas and Monique Poolmans. The collections are often of a limited edition and consequently steeply priced. There are also artistic books, magazines and toys for sale. Visit the only shop in the street where you can look through the windows without shame.
