On the outside it doesn't look very appealing. Picture a narrow entrance in a back street, with two or three enormous bouncers beside it. But don't give up just yet. Once you make your way one floor down (the club is literally 'underground') you’ll find yourself in one of the most beautiful clubs in the city. It's large, well-maintained and has an impressive sound system and is known as a stage for hard electronic music, especially techno music. Over the past years big names in this genre, like James Holden and Sven Väth, have played here. Perhaps its best feature is that everyone is welcome here from students to real working men from Utrecht.

The ambiance in the club is cool, but there is a serious problem with the security guys. They are extremely violent, physically and verbally. I''m talking about the man with a red teddy coat and a dark hat, and the bold tattooed security guy in black. They threw out one of our friend, when we were asking to go out for a minute because I was having a asthma crisis. She was acting just like everyone else. The only difference is that she is arabic... this is called racism. When we started to protest, the security guy hit the smaller and the thinner of our friend... it was extremely violent, she has now an enormous bruise on her breast. After this we noticed a girl lying under the rain next to them, alone. They didn''t want to take care of her, or at least let her enter so she could warm up a bit, even though she was a client... they wouldn''t let us look for her friends in the club and she was not from this city so she waited for two f***ing hours in the rain. It''s really sad that the security guys bring the club image down... all the customers who saw this scene were deeply shocked. I''m not the only one sharing shocking experiences with those guys, something has to be done.
