La Place is an average restaurant in the V&D department store in the Hoog Catharijne indoor shopping centre. You'll only discover why it's worth a visit once you've ascended five escalators. From the rooftop terrace you'll behold a stunning view of Utrecht from above. The food is nothing exciting, but decent enough. Pizzas are made on the spot in a wood-fired oven and the salad bar is impressive. It's also only a two-minute walk from the central station.
