Kimono

Although Kimono has been a great success in the nearby town of Hilversum for years, in Utrecht this Japanese restaurant can't seem to get it right. Despite the uplifting efforts of the staff, it's still mainly disorganised and chaotic, while the food is rather bland. The admirable menu deserves credits and ventures far beyond the usual sushi and teppanyaki offerings. The interior, consisting of many warm colors, is defintely worth a visit and is enlivened with lots of Japanese artefacts.
