This completely smoke-free hotel may not be located in Utrecht’s best neighbourhood, but the Ibis Utrecht is still a good business hotel and a fine place to spend the night. Most of the 84 rooms are somewhat small, and sometimes a bit thin-walled, but at least they're clean. The extensive breakfast, the helpful staff, free parking and the use of a nearby swimming pool and tennis courts are some of the hotel’s advantages. The beds creak a bit, so you might want to make a reservation elsewhere for your honeymoon. The historical centre is a 20-minute walk away or you could take the tram, which will bring you there in only five.
