For the third year in a row, Dutch consumers consider department store HEMA the most indispensible brand. The first HEMA department store opened in Amsterdam in 1926 and nowadays there are 500 shops in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg and France. Expect a wide range of products for very reasonable prices. HEMA is famous for its rookworst (sausage) so be sure to try one! You can order them by the half and eat it right out of your hand like the Dutch do.
