Sometimes names of places can be misleading, but not so with a gem like the Queen's Garden Resort (QGR). You’ll find this small, intimate hotel with only 12 studios apartments tucked away in the ‘mountains’ of Saba, halfway up the second steepest road on the island. The friendly staff and caring owners go that extra mile to make you feel like an honoured guest. Rooms are – to put it mildly – stunning in every way. The breathtaking views from your personal Jacuzzi are already reason enough to book a room here. The only downside would have to be its location far from the island's towns so you'll spend a fortune on taxis if you want a little reminder of civilisation.
