Serka Norman might not look like a proper restaurant, but believe us when we tell you that this is an absolute 'must' for anyone who appreciates fresh, locally-sourced seafood. Far away from all the touristy hotspots lies this shack, which doesn’t even need a sign to attract a queue of hungry patrons. Just look for the faded ‘Curacao Tourist Information’ logo on the wall of this yellow and blue building. Although you can order giant portions of grilled chicken, ribs and steak at this harbourside eatery, fresh seafood prepared and served in the local krioyo-style is the undisputed king of this hidden gem. The affordable food, relaxed, informal setting and its Friday happy hour make Serka Norman one of our favourites on the island.
