Nena Sanchez draws since 1998 inspiration from her direct surroundings. Many of her paintings are scenes from the Caribbean scenery that use bright colours in a figurative style. This self-taught local artist sells her creations in a shop in Punda and inside the beautiful Landhuis Jan Kok, where even the garden is filled with her life-size sculptures.
