The Hilton building in Curacao may be older than many of its competitors, but like good wine, it seems to get better with age. Naturally, a recent makeover which brought the property into the 21st century had much to do with this. Not being located on the busiest part of the island has lots of advantages too like a sound sleep in the quiet surroundings of this residential area. Rooms get more luxurious the higher you go up in the building and two beaches are included in this large complex where dozens of staff constantly maintain its grounds. The breakfast buffet offers a wide range of food not to mention relaxing views of the fort and the beach. A handful of bars, shops, swimming pools, a gym, mini-golf, tennis courts, a diving school, restaurants and even a casino are also at your disposal, so you never have to leave the Hilton to get your kicks on Curacao.
