Customs & Immigration

Once you've touched down at the airport, just follow the crowd to the one and only immigration hall. If you’re lucky the AC will be on and most of the counters will be manned by competent staff, making for a lot less stressful arrival. Unfortunately, we've never been that lucky and a waiting time of nearly two hours seems to be the norm, so bring a book or make sure your phone is charged. One toilet is available in the far corner for anyone who can’t resist the pressure. Two giant video screens ‘welcome you to paradise’, which is seems like more of a cruel joke as you sweat it out in the long queue. You can, however, kill some time by filling out the proper forms, which are available at the wooden desk when you enter the hall. If you’re lucky enough to finally enter paradise, you'll find your luggage at one of the conveyor belts in the next hall, which also offers some more toilets. Yet another x-ray check of your luggage will await you before you're permitted to exit the building into the blistering heat.

I arrived 10 mints ahead of schedule (ya me)and walked into the customs area about 25th in line. I then walked over to the kiosk for ED card holders(empty) inserted my passport got the gate to open moved on to picture tacking spot smiled an walked out...done!! Total lapsed time 3 mints I then walked into baggage area. I was 2nd this was by far the easiest customs passage for me ever..
