Where its intriguing name comes from, nobody seems to know, or care. What we do know is that Bachelor's Beach is a great spot for snorkelling due to the lack of waves and the shallow water. Windsurfing is also getting more and more popular here and nature lovers will no doubt appreciate the pelicans that act like they run the joint.
