We were a little embarrassed to go in, but this job is not without its sacrifices. We can't understand why tourists would pass up local seafood for a quarter pounder, but perhaps homesickness gets the better of people when they're in a foreign country, even a tropical paradise. That said, the queues can get quite long here so they must be doing something right, correct? In fact, it seems that the delays are largely due to atrocious service. Hygiene standards seemed to be lacking and somehow they managed to mess up our simple order of tea and a burger. Even the wi-fi is slow!
