Toetanchamon, or Tutankhamun in English, is a chain of family-run fast food restaurants and coffee/tea places that began sprouting up all over Amsterdam South and New West in the 1980s. Inside you'll find a wide range of freshly made coffee and tea served in – let's be diplomatic – an interesting décor with unusual ambience. If a sea of plastic orchids and Arab TV with poor reception seem inviting then by all means visit Toetachamon. The terrace with comfortable seats is, however, a big bonus.
