Zandvoort hosted the European Championship of Sand Sculpting back in August 2014, but the sculptures created by eight different artists from eight European nations including the UK, Ireland, Italy, Holland, Ukraine, Russia, Spain and the Czech Republic will still be on display at various locations throughout the town until November 2014. This year's theme was 'Music & Dance' and the winner was last year's reigning champion, Fergus Mulvany (see photo).
