Few places in Amsterdam have more atmosphere than this former Ukrainian cargo ship. Although it's no longer possible to defy rough seas with this ship, the bottom deck has been beautifully renovated and furnished. Our only complaint would be the din of diners that sounds like a hen house at feeding time. One deck higher is the best place to relax when it's sunny as the staff can open and close the flexible walls in a jiffy and the top sun deck offers excellent views of the Amsterdam skyline. Unfortunately, the staff often make mistakes and the recent success of this gem seems to have gone to the owners' heads. Although ideal for large groups, it probably isn't the place for a romantic dinner for two.
