Like many Asian restaurants in the Netherlands, Mei Wah offers a mixture of Chinese and Indonesian cuisine. Most customers order takeaway, but the restaurant is also a good place to enjoy a plate of nasi or a Cantonese egg foo young. In fact, the elegantly decorated restaurant is pretty much the exact opposite of the shopping centre in which it's housed. On the bright side, there are a lot of dishes to choose from, but then again this sometimes causes confusion with the cook, who managed to mix up our order. Vegetarians should also be vigilant as we've heard some rumours that small pieces of pork or chicken have been found in some of the supposedly meatless dishes.
