Hotel Hoogland

Although this cosy hotel isn’t exactly the height of fashion, its location between the beach and the city centre is excellent and the staff are incredibly friendly. The owners have certainly put their mark on the accommodation as many of the rooms have a special theme such as a zebra motif or a double covered in Dutch nick-nacks, but we preferred the Buddha room. A TV, DVD player, mini-bar and bathroom all come standard and wireless internet access is available free of charge throughout the premises. A bar is also at your disposal on the first floor.
