Havenzicht

For over a century Havenzicht has occupied its scenic perch above the picturesque port of Oudeschild. Together with the nearby windmill they form the two main landmarks of a town whose history is closely linked to the Wadden Sea. It's all about the seafood here, baked or fried, smoked or raw. If, however, you're not into fish or crustaceans then try the stokbrood Texelse lamsham, a delicious piece of meat on a fresh roll. All of its brown leather chairs have been placed near the big windows with views of the busy harbour, hence the name Harbour View.
