Tourist attractions always bring along a number of other businesses that want to profit from the money tourists generate and the bars and restaurants around the Sloten Mills are a perfect example. However, not everybody wants a big lunch or dinner in which case De Patatzaak is a good option. The chips we got served are by no means the best in Amsterdam, although locals apparently rave about them. Snacks and sandwiches are also available and the fantastic view of the historic premises is an extra bonus.
