Crowne Plaza Amsterdam City Centre

The façade of this colossal edifice won't win any architectural awards, but it's a whole different world inside. The staff is pleasant and professional and the clean, charming and spacious rooms have definitely earned our seal of approval. They're decorated with typically Dutch wooden ceiling beams and are equipped with large windows, but we particularly enjoyed the luxurious bedding and best mattresses we've experienced in a long time. Its wellness centre is also state-of-the-art, but you should probably avoid, if possible, the rooms facing the main street as the noise won't be to everyone's liking.
