This little pub’s popularity is no doubt due to its good location on a major Red Light thoroughfare near some of the best window shopping, although you could make the argument that the loud 1980s music really brings ’em in. Others probably appreciate that the smoking ban isn’t enforced here, but we personally only came for the cheap late night drinks and the pool table. In any event, Emmelot also provides a big TV and if you beg the bar staff they might even put on a football match. Ladies need to ask for the key to crapper at the bar, but the men’s trough is open to all.

Im sitting at this cafe right now. Table we are sitting at was probably never cleaned during the day. The waitress looks mad all the time and she doesn't give any welcoming look to anyone at all. Its good that they have free internet and they serve beer. That's all, never gonna step foot near this place and im definitely going to warn my friends who are going to travel amsterdam.
