Known as the café of the Cultural Centre for Students in Amsterdam (CREA), you can find throngs of artistic students here drinking mint tea with honey and the occasional member of the elder generation sipping dark beers. Expect sofas to chill out on and friendly service, but when ordering from the decent lunch menu make sure to ask for the small sandwich instead of the large one as they're pretty much the same size.
