The 9 Straatjes (9 Little Streets) in the southwest of the city centre of Amsterdam are still booming and that's good news for BAR 22, a not too original café that caters to its yuppyish patrons with a dance floor at the weekends and a purple staircase. The prices of the dishes are fairly student-friendly, but to be honest the servings are way too small.
