Having a location that's an hour's bicycle ride away from the city centre has the obvious disadvantage that it takes a little while to get to Amsterdam’s main sights, but in this case we'd have to say that this B&Bs distant locale is also its greatest strength. This cottage occupies the backyard of a friendly family and is situated right next to a gorgeous nature reserve near picturesque villages. The cottage is quite large and equipped with a kitchen, a well furnished sitting room, an upstairs bedroom and a terrace next to the water. When you wake up in the morning you'll find a breakfast basket in front of your door and you might even be able to spot a rare bird or two.
