Belfast & Northern Ireland

Long's Fish Restaurant

  39 Athol St      (+44) (0)28 9032 1848     more than a year ago
For almost a century, Long's has been serving misers, minions and millionaires its classic chips-with-everything fast-food fodder. The wood-panelled walls and formica booths provide an authentic chip shop backdrop for folk who like their food sans the fancy trimmings, designer vibe or faux-retro decor. Honest-to-goodness fried food from the oldest chippy in town. As they say in Belfast, you can't beat it with a big stick. Find it off Grosvenor Rd.

No offence but if you have open heart surgery, I don't think that pasties should be on your menu

I am From Belfast and started eating at Long's every Friday on my lunch as I worked in Clelands.I am now living in Americia and every time I get home I have to go to longs for a Pastie, I usely get several. I was wondering if you could let me know how to make pastie's. I recently had open heart surgery and won't be able to get back to Belfast for a while.Thank you...Oonagh Mc Cune
