Liverpool does clubbing very well, a statement that is true no matter your musical preference of choice. The city also has a fine roster of DJs who ply their trade in the bars and clubs of the centre, keeping the dance floor full until the last drop has been sinked and the sun isn’t far from the horizon. We’ve put together a selection of our favourites, although we must shed a single tear for The Krazyhouse. Come back K, all is forgiven…
Kingdom
If you’re after one of those nightclubs that tends to be full of football players and models, Kingdom is the place for you. The city’s premier exclusive club and one that has the prices to match, Kingdom is a place where people go to be seen. That isn’t to say that cynicism reigns supreme, this can be quite a fun club at times, and the cocktails are among the best in the city. The interior is one of the most exquisite in Liverpool’s nightlife scene as well.
Ink Bar
A place to get dressed up all nice and dance the night away, or at least look smouldering in the corner. Reserve yourself a table to avoid disappointment and look forward to some state of the art style embellished by cocktail after cocktail after cocktail, soundtracked by some of the best DJs around.
Heebie Jeebies
Something of a Liverpool institution, but Heebie Jeebies can be a decidedly hit and miss affair. Visit on a rough night and you’ll be met by over-enthusiastic bouncers and completely disinterested bar staff, souring the experience from the get-go. Visit on a good night? Well, you’re in for something special. With a bouncing dance floor, envelope-pushing genres and excitement in the air, there are few better places in Liverpool. The basement is pretty ace as well.
