You may have heard of this film festival - Kraków's longest running - whose humble beginnings date back to its inaugural year in 1961, when it was known as the Polish Short Film Festival. Over the years, KFF has evolved from its initial aim of celebrating native film to additionally encapsulating an international repertoire of documentary, animated and short feature films, and awarding prizes for the best Polish and international entries in these categories. Bringing together hundreds of homegrown and international directors, producers and all-around movie lovers, expect to get your film fix with screenings of over 250 films from all over the world, accompanied by various exhibitions, concerts, open-air shows and meetings with artists.
