The Antico Martini started out as a coffee shop in 1720 and has since grown into one of Venice's top restaurants, these days serving up fine Venetian specialities with an emphasis on seafood. Being on San Fantin square, the terrace is too good to miss when the weather is nice, otherwise there are the three elegant dining rooms. The Fenice theatre is adjacent, making it perfect for pre-show dinner or after-show drinks, while the proprietor's nearby piano bar (San Marco 2007) is also open from 22:00.
