This stunning marble and mosaic studded palace is a top Palermo attraction and indeed one of the most important leftovers from the 12th-century Norman occupation of Sicily. The Cappella Palatina, is the highlight of a tour around the palace and we find it pretty neat that besides being a tourist attraction, this unforgettable chapel is also the most popular place to get married in all of Sicily. This is one of the few places in Palermo that you can expect long entry lines, so we advise, if possible, that you schedule in a morning visit.
