If on the one hand the Casa Deriu museum accurately portrays a historic bourgeois interior, the over 4500 work tools and domestic utensils patiently gathered by Luigi Stara over the years provide a picture of the lives of craftsmen, fishermen, farmers and shepherds between the 19th century and the first half of the 20th century. The museum also offers demonstrations of how to use the tools, which may be completely unknown to younger visitors, although they were part of daily life just a few decades ago.
