At 108.6m high, Torre Branca is Milan's sixth highest structure at last count. Originally constructed in 1933 by architect Giò Ponti, the tower reopened in 2002 thanks to a structural overhaul by the Branca liquor company (hence the name). Towering over Parco Sempione, it offers stunning views of Milan's major landmarks, the Duomo, Castello Sforzesco and Arco della Pace. On a clear day the panorama extends all the way to the Alps, Appennines and Po Valley.
