This lovely place, just next to Boccadasse, takes a bit of finding and when you do there are166 steps to go down to reach it. When you do finally get there you’ll be wowed by sort of bar on stilts which juts out over the sea right into the sunset. The bathing establishment is also carved into the rocks near the Türke Castle so, if you want, stay all day and do some tanning first. It’s a summer time favourite with the young informal clientele who flock there at aperitivo time. Just remember, the 166 step will still be there when it’s time to go!
