Excellent exhibition of floor mosaics from a residential building from the 4th century AD, left 'ín situ'. The large mosaics show a female head surrounded by geometric patterns and the name Eirene.The modern exhibition space also showcases glass art from 3rd century BC to 4th century AD. The staff is welcoming and happy to show you around for a fee.
The space also doubles up as a performance area for jazz concerts and other events.
Do not be put off by the surroundings - primarily cheap clothes shops in the underpass, whose wares are displayed directly on the ancient Roman walls!
