Art Gallery Hotel

The ‘art gallery’ title is somewhat of a misnomer, but this small two-star hotel has an enviable location just opposite some of the nation’s best works of art at the Rijksmuseum. Rooms are nothing special, but clean with big beds that occupy most of the available space and a telephone, TV and wireless internet access are also available. Singles have shared toilets and showers, but doubles have facilities ensuite. Some of the accommodation has a slightly musty aroma, but given the ritzy neighbourhood and the affordable prices, most budget-minded travellers won’t find much cause to complain.
