Best of 2024 Winners
On Thursday, January 11, 2024, the "Best of 2024" awards ceremony took place at the Španski Borci Culture Centre. For the 13th year in a row In Your Pocket has organised a vote for the best Ljubljana providers in six categories covering the fields of culture, cuisine, shopping, experiences and café offers. This year, we added a new all-Slovenian category, "Best of Speaker", or the selection of the best speakers, was added to the voting and the selection of the new category was upgraded with the 1st Festival of Decisions, which took place in the morning part with the desire to become an annual traditional event.
Every year, Slovenia is more recognised as a hidden tourist gem, where lovers of authentic experiences, culinary excesses and architectural attractions meet. In Your Pocket encourages providers and tourism stakeholders to introduce themselves to a wider domestic and foreign public - while recognising the efforts, work and achievements of providers, who are repeatedly recognised by foreign visitors and travellers.
The "Best of" recognition raises the profile and continues the tradition of evaluation, which consists of an expert panel and the general public, who can vote for their favourite provider in selected categories.
In Your Pocket editors prepared a set of categories and suggestions of providers for voting by individual lots, with which they wanted to make the choice easier for readers. The range of providers brought together those who are extremely interesting, recognised and highly valued among domestic and foreign visitors to the capital. Such a range of providers also makes it easier for visitors to the capital to choose when they are looking for specific service providers and want to opt for proven excellent ones.
This year, we had a total of six categories and further divided them into 46 subcategories. Voting began online on October 1st and attracted as many as 44,757 votes from Slovenia and beyond.

Former head of protocol and author Ksenija Benedetti celebrated in the new all-Slovenian Speakers category, where the Top 20 finalists were selected.

Best Cultural Ambassador of Ljubljana: Bojan Cvjetićanin - Joker Out
