Sopot, being an independent city from Gdansk, with its own government and mayor, offers its own tourist card specific to Sopot. This card is very simple. A visitor pays their ‘Resort Tax’ which is usually included in the price of your accommodation and that entitles you to the Sopot Tourist Card which gets you discount in a number of places in the city, including named restaurants, some spa treatments and also from museums and the pier.
