Wawel Visitor Centre

  Wawel 5 ,   Old Town          (+48) 12 422 51 55 (ext. 219)     more than a year ago

While Wawel’s most of Wawel's courtyards and open-air spaces are free to enter, interior exhibits and tours have a timed ticket requirement to prevent overcrowding. They sell out quickly, so in order to ensure yourself entry, as well as avoid waiting in long queues, we recommend you go online to ebilet.wawel.krakow.pl and buy your tickets in advance; tickets are made available online 7 days before the date of entry.

Another option is to make a ticket reservation by calling tel. 12 422 16 97, or emailing rezerwacja@wawelzamek.pl. If a tour guide is required this must be done at least one day in advance, but for individual and even group tours you can call same-day. Calling the reservation number is a good back-up if online tickets are no longer available, or get to the Visitor Centre as early as possible for a chance at tickets for the same day. Bear in mind that if you've reserved tickets you still need to queue at the Visitor Centre to pick them up and they need to be collected 30mins before the assigned time of your visit.

Foreign language guides can also be arranged in advance for any exhibit. In addition to ticket sales and pick-up, the Visitor Centre is also the place to get more info about tours and exhibits, pick up free maps, buy souvenirs or use the restrooms.
