It doesn't get much better than sitting at a café or bar along the Ljubljanica with friends on a warm day and cooling off with a cold pint. It also doesn't get much more contentious than arguing with a Slovene about which brand of domestic beer they prefer.

Despite essentially being the same company since 2005, the choice between Union and Laško is still a subject of seemingly endless debate.
