Tattoos have become a part of mainstream life. No longer taboo, putting permanent art on our skin is now a popular form of expression, particularly in Poland. Each year Kraków plays host to one of Europe's biggest tattoo conventions, which brings popular artists from Poland and abroad to showcase their work, participate in various competitions, and interact with fans and enthusiasts. The convention consists of art exhibits, concerts and workshops, but there will also be hundreds of vendors selling clothing, jewellery, records, magazines, tattoo equipment and other items embraced by the illustrated masses. Of course you can also get piercings and tatts on site, so don't even enter if you aren't comfortable leaving with some ink.
