The Mowana Spa at the Indaba Hotel, Spa and Conference Centre in the Sandton suburb of Fourways is a relaxing retreat from the bustle of city life. As you enter the hotel’s vast grounds you’ll be struck by a sense of calm. 

What started out as a small country hotel in 1952 is now a hotel complex that has grown to house 260 hotel rooms, a Kgotla function venue, an African-themed restaurant Chiefs Boma as well as a Gin School, while still managing to retain its country hotel feel.

The Mowana Spa is named after the Baobab tree, an ancient tree species that has found its way into the folklore of Africa. The Spa focuses on providing a wellness journey, utterly enabled by the surroundings.  

We recommend that you don’t just pop in. This is the place to visit for a day or overnight to take full advantage of what’s on offer. It’s a great way to reset post-conference.

The hotel is located in close proximity to Lanseria International Airport (a 20-minute drive) and just under 40 minutes drive from OR Tambo International Airport. It is also less than hour's drive from Hartbeespoort and the Magaliesberg Mountains.
