Launched in 2010, Skokka is a new and quickly growing international operation, with an especially strong presence in Europe and Latin America. The site has a nice, clean, easy to use feel to it. However, with the adverts sorted by date, perusing the listings also feels a bit like shopping for a good value, used toaster oven on Gum Tree, but maybe that's actually a plus for some people.

While most of the girls flogging their prodigious bedroom talents and very inventive stress reduction techniques seem to be Asian, there's a wide variety of specialty categories available, including gay, lesbian, transsexual, swingers and even one dedicated to those looking for “soulmates”, which is both entertaining and a little bit sad.

What's more, we could hardly call ourselves serious journalists if we didn't mention that “skokka” is Icelandic for "jog" or "jogging".
