From Ljubljana follow Celovška take the 211 highway northwest out of the city and follow the signs for Kranj or Jesenice. Alternatively, take the E61 towards the airport which is slightly longer but on a faster road. This route will bring you into Kranj from the east.

From Austria, take the E61 past Jesenice, or the E652 through Podljubelj, both following signs for Ljubljana. Journey time both ways is approximately 30 minutes after crossing the respective borders. From Bled it's an easy 26km journey following the E61.

Once you reach Kranj you’ll find numerous options for parking. As the town centre is mainly pedestrianised you’ll need to allow for a short walk into the centre.
